Video produced in collaboration with Shaven (audio) for Victor Senkov Photography Exhibition "TRANSFORMATION" / Minsk 2019, Belarus
Viktor Senkov unites conceptual photography, video art and music in one space to reveal the idea of image transformation in the context of new media, enhancing their impact and transforming the viewer's mind. Experimenting with techniques and media, the author discovers the unique pictorial nature of the image, which exists on the edge between the concrete and authentic representation of reality and the non-figurative visual.
In the video I made, the photographs completely lose their figurative origin and become digital abstraction. Pulsating shapes, smooth lines, color spots, and gradients create the illusion of movement, supported by the speculative dynamics of the original material.
